Founder/Co-Founder/ Head of Product Marketing
Overview
Our partner is launching a new venture builder direction focused on creating and scaling B2B SaaS products. They use their own products in day-to-day work, which gives them a unique perspective on what it means to build software that actually solves real problems.
Our partner is looking for their first Head of Product & Growth who will fully own the product — its strategy, growth, and business outcome. This is someone who thinks and acts like a founder — testing hypotheses, iterating fast, making data-driven decisions, and owning the outcome.
The candidate should be confident in both Product management and Product marketing, as they will handle both hands-on, without a dedicated marketing team behind them.
Main Responsibilities
Product & Market
- Deep understanding of the market: competitors, niches, customer signals
- ICP definition, JTBD frameworks, product-market fit hypotheses
- Roadmap influence: feature proposals based on market insights
- Decision-making: launch, pivot, or kill a direction
- Day-to-day collaboration with the dev team: writing specs, prioritizing backlog, reviewing builds, unblocking delivery
Positioning & Marketing
- Messaging, value proposition, and landing page narrative for the product
- Go-to-market strategy for new features and pricing experiments
- Hands-on execution of customer acquisition: running and optimizing paid and organic channels using AI-powered marketing tools
- Building and iterating on landing pages, onboarding flows, marketing campaigns, and conversion assets — independently, with a modern AI stack
Growth & Monetization
- Full ownership of MRR, conversion, retention, and churn
- North-star metrics definition and funnel hypotheses
- Experimentation loops: test → data → decision → scale
Budget & Resources
- Autonomous management of ad budgets within approved limits
- Preparation of investment proposals for the Board of Directors
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience in product management and product marketing for digital or SaaS products, or a proven track record of independently launching and growing a product or business line — from hypothesis to outcome
- Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to move fast under uncertainty
- Hands-on experience with growth metrics: activation, conversion, retention, MRR
- Ability to run structured experiments and draw actionable conclusions from data
- High autonomy — comfortable operating without top-down instructions
- AI-first approach: active use of AI tools to improve speed and quality of work
- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (strong B2+)
