Main Responsibilities

– Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap in alignment with operational requirements, manufacturing scale, and long-term business goals.

– Lead and grow cross-functional engineering and R&D teams in Latvia, building a strong execution culture focused on speed, reliability, and continuous improvement.

– Oversee the architecture and integration of autonomous UAV/FPV systems, including embedded systems, communications, navigation, and software-hardware integration.

– Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and engineering best practices to maintain a competitive technological edge.

– Implement efficient development processes, testing methodologies, and rapid iteration cycles to accelerate product development and deployment.

– Work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and manufacturing to align technical development with operational and customer requirements.

– Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, technology partners, and research institutions.

Mandatory Requirements

– Experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of R&D, Technical Director, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced technology company.

– Strong background in hardware-software systems, robotics, UAV/FPV technologies, embedded systems, RF communications, or autonomous systems.

– Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical engineering problem-solving and fast decision-making.

– Proven experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams.

– Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment with high technical complexity and ambitious execution timelines.

– Fluency in English
