Automation/Manual QA Engineer
Overview

Main Responsibilities
– Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for visual system firmware,software applications, and cloud-based solutions
– Collaborate with development, product, and hardware teams to define test plans, strategies,and requirements
– Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and stress testing of the visualsystem and related software
– Investigate and document software and hardware defects using JIRA or similar bug-trackingtools
– Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python or other relevant automationframeworks
– Set up and manage test environments, including visual systems, network configurations, andcloud integrations
– Analyze logs and debugging information to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed reports
– Participate in code and test case reviews to ensure best practices and test coverage
Mandatory Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
– 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing, preferably in embedded systems,IoT, or security camera domains
– Proficiency in testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices
– Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, or similar
– Experience in scripting languages like Python and Bash
– Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, RTSP, ONVIF, HTTP, MQTT, etc.)
– Familiarity with Linux-based environments and debugging tools (Wireshark, log analysis, shellscripting, etc.)
– Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured
– Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
– Experience using Jira or similar test management tools
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
– Knowledge of AI/ML-based video analytics testing
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IoT integrations
– Experience with mobile app testing (iOS & Android) related to security camera applications
