Technical Project Manager
Main Responsibilities
– Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of technical project requirements, objectives, and dependencies
– Develop and manage detailed project plans, including sprints, backlogs, deployments, and support phases, ensuring timely and high-quality technical deliverables
– Proactively monitor project progress, identifying technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and implementing mitigation strategies
– Drive continuous improvement by analyzing completed tasks, refining technical processes, and suggesting automation or efficiency enhancements
– Facilitate effective cross-team communication, ensuring technical and non-technical stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle
– Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements
– Ensure compliance with best practices in software development, security, scalability, and maintainability during project execution
– Support engineering teams in adopting Agile best practices and modern DevOps methodologies to optimize workflows and accelerate delivery
Mandatory Requirements
– 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in a software development environment, preferably within a product-based company
– Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and key differences in cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and system architectures
– Proven ability to manage complex technical initiatives, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines under pressure
– Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Confluence, or similar
– Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with engineers and tech leads to discuss technical challenges and trade-offs
– Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams
– Experience in creating and maintaining technical roadmaps that align with business goals and ensure long-term scalability and maintainability
– Preferred: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and DevOps practices
– English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

– Experience leading distributed or international teams in a remote or hybrid work environment
– Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
– Knowledge of product management frameworks, including OKRs and customer-driven development
– Technical background or hands-on coding experience in languages such as Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar
– Understanding of QA processes and experience with automated testing tools
– Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and how they integrate into development workflows
– Exposure to data-driven project management, including tools and methods for analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
– Experience working in highly regulated industries with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
