Senior SEO/GEO Manager (with experience in the USА market)
Overview
Our partner is a digital agency specializing in marketing and web development for B2B SaaS companies in cloud infrastructure management, programming, cybersecurity, and other tech niches.
We are looking for a specialist to take full ownership and scale the organic and AI search programs (SEO/GEO) for both the agency itself and its B2B SaaS clients. This is a senior-level position requiring complete mastery of SEO/GEO processes, a high level of responsibility in client communication, and a direct impact on organic growth, the sales funnel, and revenue.
The role encompasses strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of on-page SEO, GEO, and content strategy, while consistently upholding high standards of accuracy, accountability, and quality of execution.
Main Responsibilities
– Full ownership of SEO/GEO strategy and execution across assigned B2B SaaS client accounts
– Development and implementation of comprehensive SEO roadmaps (on-page, content, authority building)
– Develop and execute GEO strategies to increase visibility in AI search results
– Keyword research, keyword gap analysis, and search intent mapping
– Content strategy ownership: topic clustering, internal linking strategy, content briefs, and optimization frameworks implementation
– Optimization of landing pages and blog content for rankings, traffic, and conversions
– Ongoing performance analysis using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Scrunch AI, and other SEO/GEO tools
– Identification of growth opportunities through data analysis and competitive research
– Close collaboration with writers, designers, developers, performance marketers, and CRO specialists
– Client-facing communication: SEO/GEO updates, performance insights, roadmap alignment, and strategic recommendations
– Development of internal documentation, templates, SOPs, and SEO/GEO workflows
– Staying ahead of algorithm updates, AI search shifts, and industry changes
Mandatory Requirements
– Native-level proficiency in English (absolute must)
– 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (preferably in B2B SaaS, ideally in the US market)
– Deep understanding of on-page SEO and content strategy
– Strong experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, GSC, GA4, etc.)
– Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML
– Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail
– Ability to take full ownership and be accountable for organic growth results across all clients (critical)
– Ability to work directly with clients and present strategic insights
– Ability to work remotely and operate independently without being micromanaged
Preferred:
– Experience with GEO (generative engine optimization)
– Experience building a SEO strategy from zero to scale
– Strong understanding of SEO within a broader demand generation ecosystem
– Experience setting up integrated SEM strategies
