We are seeking a highly driven and well-connected Director of Global Sales & Marketing to lead our business development, sales strategy, and marketing initiatives for embedded imaging solutions, with a strong emphasis on AI vision systems for UAVs and applications in defense and military sectors. This role will drive revenue growth, build brand presence, and develop strategic partnerships in target regions, leveraging your deep technical understanding, marketing acumen, and established industry relationships.

Main Responsibilities

– Develop and execute a global sales and marketing strategy focused on North America and Europe, aligned with iENSO’s growth objectives

– Lead business development initiatives in embedded imaging and AI-based vision systems, with a strong focus on UAV, Robotics, defense, and military applications

– Design and oversee targeted marketing campaigns (digital, trade shows, PR) to drive lead generation and strengthen iENSO’s brand in global markets

– Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and government agencies in the imaging and defense sectors

Leverage your established network within the defense sector and related industries to drive market penetration and secure long-term contracts

– Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps, technical capabilities, and market positioning

– Manage the full sales lifecycle — from prospecting and opportunity qualification to contract negotiation and closing

– Represent iENSO at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings worldwide, ensuring marketing and branding are consistent and effective

– Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics

– Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and technology developments to identify new business opportunities

Mandatory Requirements

– 10+ years of sales and business development experience in embedded imaging, optics, or related technology sectors, combined with proven marketing leadership

– Demonstrated success in AI-enabled vision systems, particularly for UAVs, defense, and military applications

– Strong marketing background; experience developing go-to-market strategies, branding initiatives, lead generation campaigns, and product launches

– Established network and strong relationships with defense contractors, military procurement agencies, and UAV system integrators in North America and/or Europe

– Deep technical understanding of imaging technologies, embedded systems, and AI/ML-based vision solutions

– Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with long lead times

– Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to close high-value contracts

– Familiarity with modern AI and process automation tools to support sales initiatives and drive operational efficiency is a must.

– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

– Willingness to travel internationally as required (~30–40%)
