Area Manager
Main Responsibilities
– Lead a team (account managers & sales executive) in charge of managing a group of existing cities and drive them to success
– Own global and local OKRs for your area
– Work together with the Commercial Director and the functional heads to define winning sales, growth and portfolio strategies for your area, and own its implementation
– Identify and sign local partnerships, building and managing a commercial dream team
– Constantly look for ways to improve the partnership in your area, staying up to date in terms of news, trends, competitive landscape
– Institute best practices and processes which can be replicated across all areas
– Build, scale, communicate and maintain detailed reporting models to assist regional efforts, both on a strategic and operational level
– Lead by example in accordance with our values and set high standards for the team
Mandatory Requirements
– You have 2+ years of managing small commercial teams
– A strong track record of excellent performance delivering challenging KPIs and / or projects
– Managerial, 360 view: good understanding of all the key drivers in a business P&L and how to affect them
– Highly polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating. Ability to work with remote teams through clear and concise communication
– You are a methodological fast learner who is familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc)
– Be an owner mindset: You are committed to growing Glovo in your cities, and digging deep to solve bottlenecks. You’re solution-oriented and don’t take no for an answer.
– Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail
– Superior analytical skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get it done
– English as a working language: verbal & written
